World’s First High Protein Meat-Free Dog Food

Vegan Dog Food Company Launch a Meat-Free Dog Food

The biotechnology driven vegan pet food company Wild Earth, have announced the launch of their high-protein, meat-free dog food, having previously only manufactured superfood dog treats made from plant-based ingredients.

The veterinarian-developed food offers 31% complete proteins in every scoop whilst promising a natural umami taste that dogs will enjoy.

Ingredients such as oats, sweet potatoes, chickpeas, blueberries and pumpkin all provide natural sources of energy whilst benefiting your dog’s heart health, improving their digestion, nutrient absorption and offers immune system support, amongst other key benefits. Wild Earth is also free from artificial preservatives, flavours, corn, soy or rice.

A recent UCLA research found that feeding pets creates the equivalent of 64 million tons of carbon dioxide a year – roughly the same climate equivalent as a year’s worth of driving from 13.6 million cars. Wild Earth says it is looking to change opinions and beliefs around sustainable and healthy dog food by utilising fungi-based proteins. Their goal is to combat the damage factory farming is causing on the environment as well as the effect standard dog food has on the health of our pets.

Launched at this year’s SuperZoo Conference in Las Vegas – the largest pet industry event in North America, Wild Earth’s dog food will be available in independent pet food retailers across America from September 2019, with United Pacific Pet (UPP) serving as the exclusive distributor in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. The product can also be purchased online at https://wildearth.com but currently for US residents only.
