TiNDLE is a brand that prides itself on being made for chefs by chefs, but now it is testing the water with consumers for the first time in Veganuary 2023
When TiNDLE first launched, it aimed to transform the plant-based foodservice industry with a chicken alternative that tasted good, contained only nine ingredients, and definitely no GMO ingredients.
And the first product from Next Gen Foods, a Singapore-founded food tech company, is better for the environment too, requiring only a fraction of the land, water and energy to produce it compared to poultry.
It’s become popular in the UK restaurant scene with chains such as Sketch, BrewDog and Bird using it to enhance the plant-based offerings on their menus.
TiNDLE takes on consumers
From 26 December 2022 until 24th January 2023, TiNDLE will test out the reaction of the consumer market for the first time, as it makes its way to Morrisons stores in the UK.
There will be three products available to choose from throughout the limited run, each at an introductory price:
- Wings – Available for £3 per package MSRP
- Nuggets – Available for £3 per package MSRP
- Burgers – Available for £3 per package MSRP
Products are aimed at the convenience food sector and have been launched during Veganuary to help prove that plant-based eating isn’t just delicious but can be quick and easy too.
Whether you’re whipping up chicken nuggets and chips for the kids or incorporating vegan chicken wings into your favourite street food dish, TiNDLE aims to show new Veganuary participants that nothing has to be off the menu when following a new diet.
Although TiNDLE will only be available at Morrisons for a limited time period, it will be interesting to see how consumers react to a new vegan chicken alternative entering the increasingly busy sector.
