Vegan meat product added to Butlins menus around the UK

UK holiday resort chain, Butlins, has announced that it has added vegan meat to its menus, in perfect timing for the school holidays.

The chosen product is Oumph! and the Moving Mountains B12 burger patty. Using these products, Butlins is now offering tacos and a House Cobb salad, with the burger being paired with vegan tata tots, melted vegan cheese, nachos and guacamole for the ultimate Veggie Mountain Burger.

Vegan side dishes are also available, with onion rings, corn on the cob, seasoned with Cajun spice, and the standard fries and salad on offer.

Jenny Cooper, head of food and beverages and retail marketing at Butlins, said: “We are really proud of our exciting new menu in The Diner and are pleased to be offering our guests the choice of Oumph! as a vegan topping on our Traditional Tacos as well as the House Cobb salad.”

She added: “Our new menu features everything from authentic American dishes and build your own burgers to delicious thick shakes, delighting our guests and providing great value for money.”

For some, finding vegan, family friendly food on holiday can be tricky. By introducing these new options on their menu, Butlins not only become inclusive of vegans, but also of those looking to reduce their consumption of animal products.

Oumph and Moving Mountains are two brands that have made quite an impact in the UK, offering innovative products to help more people become vegan.
