Vegan Food Outlet Opens in Rural France

The Hidden Veggie Kitchen is a new meat-free dining venue in the Haute Vienne in France.

According to founder Louise: “It can be hard to find vegetarian food when you go out, but it’s even harder to find vegan in rural France. So I decided to not only offer at least one option for vegans for each course on our menu.

“We’ve had people from America, Holland and even several French people who are vegan. We’re not only appealing to veggies either – lots of meat-eaters come to us as they want to try something completely different.”

The restaurant – which advises customers to bring alcohol, as it does not have a licence – will offer lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner menus from October 6.
