Sweets in the City have created a new line of vegan-friendly sweets
The sweet brand Sweets in the City is the creation of 2017 The Apprentice winner, Sarah Lynn.
With a goal to provide sweets for every occasion, the confectionary brand has now launched a new line of fruity flavoured sweets that are not only vegan-friendly but also gluten-free and made with real fruit juices, using natural colours and pectin fruit flavourings.
Named Dual Jellies, the summer-inspired sweets come in four different ‘dual’ flavours: Pineapple and Coconut, Mango and Passionfruit, and with a ‘touch of fizz’ – Apple and Watermelon and Strawberry and Lemonade.
Founder of Sweets in the City, Sarah Lynn commented: “Sweets in the City offers people beautifully packaged sweets for all occasions, with stylish packaging and a delicious taste, but with the investment from Lord Sugar and our new partnership, I wanted to create a truly unique range of vegan sweets that everyone could enjoy. The demand is there for a quality product that does not compromise on taste, and that’s exactly what we created with our new range. I’m so excited to share our vegan sweets – and it doesn’t matter if you’re not vegan, they’re still just as delicious.”
Available in a convenient 50g grab-and-go size (RRP £1.50) as well as a larger, resealable 125g sharing bag (RRP £2.75), the range went on sale from the 8th July exclusively in Waitrose stores, Selfridges, and a select number of premium retailers. From early August, they will also be stocked in Holland & Barrett stores then later on in the summer WHSmith in 8 major airports across the UK, will also be stocking the animal-free treats.
