Pudology Launching New Flavours of Vegan Desserts

Pudology, a family run UK business is launching new flavours to their line of dairy and gluten free products. The new flavours, lemon and yuzu, and chocolate and raspberry skinny pots are launching in Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Ocado from April. The desserts are less than 60 calories per pot, and use potato protein to create the indulgent desserts.

Pudology was created in Cheshire by Lucy Wager, and she was a product developer at Sainsbury’s and M&S. She designed the brand after she became intolerant to dairy, eggs and gluten. Speaking about the brand, Lucy said: “The final straw was watching my dad tuck into a treacle pudding, and I just couldn’t bear it – I wanted to eat something really delicious, just like everyone else and so I took matters into my own hands.”

She added: “We wanted to make delicious treats that felt like real treats instead of a second-class substitute for a ‘proper pudding’ and ones that everyone can enjoy without feeling guilty.”

All of the puddings are free from dairy, gluten, eggs and refined sugar making them suitable for everyone. Puddings in the range include banoffee, chocolate orange, yoghurt, chocolate and millionaires’.
