Halo Top Launch New Vegan Flavours

Vegan ice cream brand Halo Top is launching new flavours to their line of low calorie, high protein and low sugar ice cream range. The ice cream is made with coconut milk, and is in response to the high level of demand for vegan food.

The company has an extensive range of dairy-free ice cream available in the U.S, where the range is having two new flavours added to the line. The flavours are Toasted Coconut and Vanilla Maple, which will sit alongside the current flavours of Peanut Butter Cup, Chocolate Chip Cookie dough and Birthday Cake.

The dairy-free range differ in their calories, from 280-360 calories per pint and 16-28 grams of sugar per pint, the band has been named as one of TIME Magazine’s 25 Best Inventions of 2017. Halo Top CEO and founder, Justin Woolverton said: “When we launched our original line of non-dairy flavors, we knew we wanted to expand to include even more indulgent options.”

Woolverton added: “We know our fans look to us for variety and creativity in our flavors, and we want to make sure we always address those requests for our dairy-averse and vegan fans as well.”

Veganism and plant based diets continue to rise in popularity, the extensive range is welcomed. The dairy-free products from Halo Top are currently unavailable in the UK, however with their dairy ice cream stocked in Ocado and Tesco, and the vegan demand is continually increasing, there is hope that they might expand into the UK market.

The increase in product launches of vegan items has risen exponentially. Dairy and meat companies are investing alternative products, noticing the market increase for the value and popularity of dairy-free and meat-free products. Health, environmental awareness and ethical beliefs are the driving force behind this increase in veganism, and is expected to continue growing throughout 2018.

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your
post seem to be running off the screen in Internet explorer.

I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to
do with internet browser compatibility but I figured I’d
post to let you know. The style and design look great though!
Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Cheers
