Under two months after announcing the launch of their first UK restaurant, US fast food chain by CHLOE. have stated that they are to open a second London branch with the vegan brand going from strength to strength.
Two years ago, by CHLOE. had just a single New York City premises, but the vegan brand has since branched out to seven locations across the US with another four planned to be open before the end of 2017.
The second UK location of by CHLOE. is set to open in One Tower Bridge, with the first opening in Covent Garden. A third London location has been teased as being in the pipeline. Reports state that $13 billion is being pumped into the vegan brand’s global expansion.
In an interview with the chain’s president Samantha Wasser in the latest issue of Vegan Trade Journal, Wasser explained: “London has always been part of our larger growth plan for by CHLOE., though it definitely happened a lot faster than we originally anticipated. When you think about international cities that have become a dining destination these last few years, it’s impossible to have that conversation without London being at the top of the list.”
Wasser went on to describe the international expansion to London as a “no-brainer” for the vegan brand.
