Quorn Foods Recalls Meat Free Soups – Due To Undeclared Egg

Quorn Foods is recalling its Meat Free Moroccan Soup and its Meat Free Red Thai Soup because they contain egg which is not mentioned on the labels. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.

Quorn Foods is recalling the above products from all UK Sainsburys stores and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to Sainsburys. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products.

Quorn is asking consumers to return any Quorn Meat Free Red Thai Soup with Use By Dates of 14 Oct 2016 and 17 Oct 2016 or Quorn Meat Free Moroccan Soup with Use By Dates of 14 Oct 2016 and 17 Oct 2016 to their retailer for a full refund.
