Which pizza hut stores are trialing vegan cheese?

Restaurant pizza chain Pizza Hut is trialing a new vegan pizza to be topped with vegan cheese.

The trial period will be running form Monday 2^nd October until Sunday 26^th November where customers can opt for a vegan cheese topping instead of the standard dairy cheese option.

Only a handful of branches will be involved in the vegan trial to test whether the demand for vegan pizza options at the restaurant chain is big enough to warrant rolling out to all stores.

Pizza Hut Trial

The branches involved in the trial are Canterbury, Crawley, Thanet, Bluewater and Chatham. Though it has not yet been made clear as to why these locations have been chosen.

The pizza giants will be using well-known brand of vegan cheese Violife for their vegan alternative pizzas.

Rival brands Pizza Express, Zizzi and Ask all already have vegan cheese options for their pizzas.

The plant based sector is booming with food sales hitting $3 billion, an increase in over 8 per cent in the space of a year.
