Popular Italian Restaurant Chain Menu Now Serves Oumph!

Popular Italian restaurant chain has extended their vegan menu.

The award-winning Swedish brand Oumph! will now be available on the menu of Italian restaurant chain Bella Italia. Dishes featuring the product will include their Gramigna Pesto Pasta, Marco Polo Pasta, the Vesuvio Pizza and their Barbeque Pizza.

Marc Saunders, head of branding at Bella Italia, commented: “We are proud to feature Oumph! on the menu. The versatility of the Oumph! soya products has the right texture and seasoning that makes it the perfect choice for plant-based alternative to meat.”

The plant-based protein brand launched in Tesco stores over a year ago and since then has been added to the menu at UK holiday resort chain, Butlins, as well as Hilton Hotels and Busaba Eathai restaurants in London.

Oumph! is part of Food for Progress, a Swedish company that aims to produce food that is progressive whilst being environmentally friendly, nutritious and tasty. Now, with numerous food awards under their belt, Oumph! are taking the meat-substitute world by storm, introducing plant-based eating to the masses.
