One Planet Pizza secures Ocado as latest stockist

Award-winning vegan pizza brand, One Planet Pizza has just announced their latest stockist, Ocado. One Planet Pizza have been creating vegan frozen pizzas for two years, and recently gained investment and part ownership from Heather Mills under her VBites Ventures investment portfolio.

Ocado is the first mainstream retailer to stock One Planet Pizza, with their products already stocked in over 450 independent stores. One Planet Pizza is fronted by father and son team, Mike and Joe Hill.

Speaking about the launch with Ocado, they said: “We have had to expand our production very quickly in order to meet the increasing demand for our pizzas, including the launch on Ocado, and it’s great that our customers will now be able to order online across the UK.

“Our pizzas continue to win awards for their taste and flavour, and Ocado, with its focus on healthy and ethical foods, is a perfect fit for us.”

Their pizzas are made with a cold-pressed rapeseed oil in the base and chia seed-infused sauce, giving their pizzas an extra kick of healthy vitamins. The pizzas they make include Three Sheese Margherita, Exotic Fungi Feast, Mediterranean Roasted Vegetable Feast and Hawaiian.
