Meat-Free Brand Launch New Product into Tesco Stores
This week, award-winning plant-based meat brand Oumph! are launching their new Sticky Smokehouse Oumph! into select Tesco stores.
The rib-style fillets are covered in a richly flavoured sticky, smoky barbecue sauce and like their other popular products including Pulled Oumph!, Oumph! The Chunk and Oumph! Kebab Spiced, the Sticky Smokehouse Oumph! is sold in the frozen section.

Buying manager for prepared foods at Tesco, Sarah Bird, commented: “As we expand our plant-based offering, we’re pleased to be introducing Oumph! Sticky Smokehouse to a number of our stores. It’s a fun, tasty option for anyone considering going vegan or trying a flexitarian diet and perfect to support our Veganuary campaign.”
Oumph! is a favourite in Sweden and the Nordic countries and is made from soya beans, herbs and spices. It’s plant-based and free from gluten and dairy whilst being high in protein, fibre and a source of iron and folic acid, as well as having a low climate impact.
Since its launch in 2015, the meat alternative has become a favourite with a wide audience, including families, foodies, chefs and fast-food loving flexitarians.
Being versatile and easy to cook, it is suitable for home preparation as well as food services as you can grill, boil, sauté, deep-fry or heat over an open fire.

In the UK Oumph! is available nationwide in major retailers and a large number of cafés and restaurants such as Bella Italia, Chiquito, Busaba Eathai and Hilton Hotels.
