German supermarket chain ALDI are now stocking a range on plant-based meat alternatives.
ALDI launched a selection of frozen vegan options across the UK at the end of May 2019.
Produced by the brand Mae’s Kitchen, the new range will include No Chicken burgers, No Beef burgers (both priced at £1.99 per pack), and No Sausage rolls (£1.29 per pack).
The announcement came not long after both Greggs and Tesco’s also revealed that they would be selling their own brand of meat-free sausage rolls. With BBQ season here, most major supermarkets are stocking their shelves with their own range of plant-based burger alternatives, to ensure they’re meeting customer demands.
