Bravura Foods Firmly on the Veganuary March

Award-winning plant-based food distributor and vegan brand owner Bravura Foods, have been preparing a host of new launches to coincide with Veganuary.

A familiar face on the liquorice market, Panda Liquorice, has added a Raspberry four-bar pack to the range which has been listed in Sainsbury’s and Holland & Barrett. The brand is also soon to unveil a new flavour, a banana-strawberry combination, to the range. At the same time, the entire line of Panda Liquorice is undergoing a radical redesign using communicative packaging to emphasise the key unique selling points – this includes the fact that the original black liquorice recipe still only uses four ingredients.

Freedom Mallows are progressing fast within the free-from food market, as more consumers are rejecting gelatine-based marshmallow products for themselves and their children. The brand, therefore, has introduced five new products including a new mega-sized mallow offering called ‘Vegantics, which have been listed in Sainsbury’s and Ocado. In addition, bags of chocolate-covered strawberry and vanilla mallows as well as two new chocolate-covered mallow bars in the same flavours, are currently supplying the independent health food sector.
Free From Fellows have added a new line to the range of sugar-free, gelatine free and gluten-free sweets, with a new wine gum variant. Available in 70g bags in Sainsbury’s and 100g bags in the health food sector.

The latest new brand to join the Bravura selection is Leaf Life – a CBD infused range of lightly sparkling drinks.

The brand has already picked up two recent award wins – one at the International Drink Expo for Best New Drinks Innovation and another for Runner Up in the Best New Drink category in the Food Matter Live awards. The new CBD drinks are now available in all leading UK health food stores and are all certified by the vegan society.
Flavours include Laidback lemonade, relaxing raspberry and mindful mango and passion fruit flavours.

Director at Bravura Foods, Lisa Gawthorne, comments “There is such a great buzz right now in the market it’s really like nothing we have seen before, I am entering my 17th year of being vegan and we are all so spoilt for choice in comparison to times gone by – so it’s only fitting we continue to innovate and offer vegan consumers the best in class when it comes to food to go and plant-based snacking options. All of our brands have to pass the test of being delicious as well as adding real value for the target market and we are pleased to be looking ahead to another year of bringing more to the market that hits this sweet spot.”

The company will also be running a number of competitions in association with Veganuary, across its branded social media platforms. Lisa is also featuring in Veganuary’s current plant-powered women film and recently contributed to the Plant Based News Documentary “Vegan 2019”.
