Beyond Meat has announced that they are adding a breakfast sausage to their product range this autumn. The new product announcement was made at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago. The Beyond Breakfast Sausage is taking after the successful Beyond Burger and Beyond Sausage.
Following the debut of the Beyond Burger in 2016, the company launched the Beyond Sausage last year. The idea behind Beyond Meat is to produce an item that looks, cooks and tastes like animal meat, however it does not contain any animal products.
Currently, it is only available in a select few countries; however plans were recently announced that Beyond Meat are expanding into fifty other countries this year to take on the global market.
