Babybel launch their first-ever vegan cheese

Babybel Plant-Based went on sale at the beginning of January 2022 for the first time

 

Following great public demand from nostalgic vegan cheese-lovers and dairy-free consumers, Babybel has launched their first-ever Babybel Plant-based (RRP £2). The cheesy treat sprung into Sainsbury’s nationwide at the beginning of January and has quickly become a new favourite with consumers.

 

Babybel Plant-Based has a delightfully smooth texture and creamy taste, and is made using a Vegan Society approved blend of coconut oil and starch – free from artificial colours and preservatives and a source of calcium and vitamin B12!Each bag, made from fully recyclable paper, contain five tasty cheeses wrapped in Babybel’s iconic wax – but to complete the exciting revamp, the vegan wax shell is green! It can also be recycled via Babybel’s TerraCycle scheme, though the brand has plans to have all compostable packaging by 2025.
