Best Vegan Magazine title awarded to Vegan Life Magazine

The hotly contested Best Vegan Magazine award at the 2017 VegFestUK Awards went to Vegan Life Magazine over the weekend.

This is the third award won by the vegan publication after it previously won awards for Best Publication and Best Vegan Service at the 2014 and 2015 VegFestUK Awards respectively.

Vegan Life Magazine is in its third year of publication, and was the first vegan publication to hit UK shelves, designed to bring the latest in vegan news and travel, alongside vegan recipes. It encompasses everything the whole spectrum of issues related to a vegan lifestyle, such as environmental issues, health benefits of vegan food, and animal welfare concerns.

Keith Coomber, Director of Prime Impact Events and Media, spoke of his delight at the award. “Vegan Life was the first vegan publication to hit newsstands and we have always been passionate about changing the world. We set out to bring veganism into vogue and we are now seeing that happen.”

He continued: “I’d like to thank our loyal readers, many of whom have been with us since issue one, for their ongoing support.”

Olivia Middlebrook, Editor of Vegan Life Magazine, stated: “We have been overwhelmed with the kind words from our readers and friends in the vegan community. We share this award with all the people out there who are working tirelessly to change the face of veganism.”

Prime Impact Events and Media publishes Om Yoga Magazine, Vegan Trade Journal, and most recently brought a food-specific vegan magazine titled — PlantBased Magazine.

Other winners at the 2017 Awards included Violife in the Best Vegan Cheese category, Fry’s for Best Vegan Meat and Temple of Hackney for Best Vegan Restaurant.
